Based on your description and my experience, it appears there are numerous water issues affecting the carpets. My water incidents were taking place on days with no rain, just sunny and lots of AC in use for southern humid summer days!
...agree 100% the service experience is very painful!
I have had random issues like this, I have also wondered if I am inadvertently touched the rear screen and turned them on. I have since started keeping the rear screen locked.
It doesn't happen enough to be tracking much on my end.
Okay, this video shows posted Jun 7, and has > 140k views. Did I miss it or did it just get made public? I really feel like I didn't miss it's premier...I have been anticipating and waiting for it!
Battery Pack: Coverage includes all components inside the high-voltage battery and 70% or more of the battery capacity for 8 years or 175,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Before the truck was released, when we heard there was Alexa integration, I think most of us immediately thought about "starting the truck" using Alexa inside the house. Unfortunately it is only in-truck skills.
Whelp, today I called into service and requested to have ATL call me with an update after hearing nothing for another day. No call...disappointed in the lack of information once again.
The inability to be able to reach the team who is working on your Rivian is purely frustrating.
Today's update from the SC, they are waiting for "HVAC tape" to come in tomorrow so they can finish the fix. Looks like I get my truck back next week...
Service appointment day, I checked my app and see the work description details have changed from the original verbiage.
Will provide an update when I have one from the SC.
I have yet to have a 3rd party tow do anything with the screen interface that I can tell. Most of them barely know how to lock and unlock the vehicle. They are not doing anything with tow mode, etc that I have experienced with my two SC field trips via 3rd party tows.
It seems to be all camp speakers. I also just forget it from my phone until I use it. It's almost as if the speaker never shuts off. I have pulled it out of the truck completely dead.
Rivian has a gig with Enterprise.
First SC appointment they put an Enterprise reservation in for a full size pickup (when Enteprise called to confirm, I updated the request to just a sedan; no truck needed).
For my second SC appointment, they have put me in for a premium car on the reservation.
I have always just used the on-board nav and set the DCFC as a destination, I don't think we have any awareness for an alternative method to precondition.
You can now get a bottle to match your truck color that fits the cup holders!

I have generally had a one day buffer from truck is done to delivery back. That day is for the tow job to go out to bid and it to be assigned to a company, etc.
Mine goes again Tuesday, we shall see how this experience goes.
