  1. R1T Rivian Service, Rescue & Recovery Vehicle (w/ Pullout Drawers From Gear Tunnel) -- TFL walkaround

I'd love to have the top slide out bins on either side and leave the space below open for camp chairs, fishing poles and what not.
  2. Camping Trip Report – Some of Our Favorite Gear For R1T

I use this exped megamat duo for all of our car camping. Fits in the tent nicely, sleeps two and the dog if needed and it's super comfy. Have slept on this summer through the middle of winter snow camping and no complaints. Would suggest getting a powered inflator to expedite setup but the...
  3. The Built In Navigation Solution

I don't think it updates as frequently. I always set my phone to navigate in parallel with the R1. Yesterday going to pickup my son Google Maps showed 25 minutes. Rivian map showed 10 and never updated traffic to show the slowdown/stoppage on the way there.
  4. The Built In Navigation Solution

Overhead shot of my house in Seattle looks to be close to 8 years old based on the way the yard looks.
  5. The Built In Navigation Solution

Two weeks in, I've not found Alexa to do anything well. Never plays the song or artist requested, when I ask for directions to someplace a few miles away e.g. Costco, all the options presented are for Costco locations 10-20 miles away, searching for a business that is named on the Rivian Nav...
  6. Rivian Customer Service: SiriusXM Radio will not be native part of the entertainment system

Lack of satellite radio was a massive oversight IMO. Downloading playlists to a phone works but it's also illegal in many states to be using a mobile phone when driving and Rivian hasn't seen fit to provide anything close to a decent phone integration at this point.
  7. R1T Trip report. Round trip Portland OR to San Jose CA

Love to read stories like this. I've got a couple longer trips on I-5 this summer from WA down to Stockton area and looking forward to the drive for the first time in many years but also a bit curious how the drive will be factoring in recharge stops. I usually drive Seattle>Redding>Stockton...
  8. Rivian wall charger install and issues connecting

Are the bluetooth and wifi radios both connected via that faceplate cable? Just had the charger installed today and can't get the Wi-Fi working yet. Even on 2.4Ghz only, no spaces in SSID and no special characters in the password. Wondering if I need to take it apart to check or not.
  9. California For Sale: R1T Accessories: mats, bars, field kit, recovery kit, wall charger

I would be interested in the cross bars if you can ship to Seattle and happy to pay shipping.
  10. R1T camping/overlanding adventure! Ochoco National Forest.

Your kitchen is great, did you build that? Can you share some more details?
  11. Homemade front license plate mount for tow hook

Wonder if that will work with the Good to Go toll sensor thing or if it would end up breaking it off.
  12. Delivered! My Rivian Story

These all seem great, but it also seems that there are issues with all of these and at this point not sure if leaving phone, key fob in the car and relying on the wrist band would be a good idea or not?
  13. Rivian R1T - Our First Impressions | In Depth

Keeping an eye on that channel for their DIY camp kitchen. It had occurred to me that it might be possible to build a slide out box with a cook top etc.. for a lot less than $5K, so curious to see what they come up with.
  14. Rivian R1T spotted in South Seattle today! (photos, videos, impressions)

I'm not sure if the Rivian Blue is worth the $ but my test drive was in a blue R1T back in December and FWIW it looked great and I ended up swapping color from Silver to Blue as a result.
  15. Which tires to get for driving in the rain?

Also in Seattle and have experienced the tire spin on rainy days on the hills downtown and on some of the neighborhood streets, especially when I lived in Magnolia. It's not been an issue with my current car (Ascent) but happened all the time with FWD or RWD only car's I've had. For the R1T...
