Have a great trip with your doggie! Look for hotels/motels with charging infrastructure. (Some of them even offer it for free!) Then you can charge to 100% overnight. What it saves you in stops adds up after a few days.

There may be issues with your truck, but in general my advice is not to bother with conserve mode. Perhaps it might help a bit when you’re on a long, steady cruise. I found that switching in and out was more trouble than it’s worth. For me it’s All Purpose, all the time. Some prefer Sport mode.

I‘ve had similar issues with my Chargepoint home charger. Mine’s plugged in via 14-50. I’ve found that periodically unplugging it for a minute or two solves the problem. It’s annoying but the workaround isn’t too onerous.
