I’ve had 3 rock chip repairs and a windshield replaced in my first 6,000 miles of owneship. I just proactively replaced my 4Runner windshield at 137,000 miles because it was so pitted, but never had any rock chips severe enough for repair let alone replacement.
Has anyone had a 3rd party replace the windshield? Safelite let me book an appointment recently but then cancelled it right before stating that they aren’t able to replace Rivian windshields. I then took it to the SC for replacement.
I’ve had the windshield replaced once and 3 rock chip repairs on the Rivian in the last 6 months. I have a 2005 4Runner with 140k miles and have never done any work on the windshield. I think the glass is weak.
Yeah, only way to connect to hotspot right now is to go into WiFi settings and select “Find Network”, manually type in the SSID and password and select Join.
Mine also doesn’t pop out but if I push it a bunch of times in quick sequence it reliably releases. If I just push it all the way in once and release it just returns back it’s locked position.

I also have a Solar setup and just use the charger included with the Rivian. You can use it at home for normal charging as well as take it to-go when needed.
I just bought a cheap one off of Amazon to get by. This one reaches all tires and is swappable with the end points of the original hose although not as convenient. I also just wanted to test my theory that the compressor was fine and it was in fact a bad hose.
Hromee 1/4 in x 25 ft.
I have this exact issue. I bought an after market hose and it works fine but when I use the supplied hose it immediately stops at whatever PSI I set it to. The hose is pressurizing but it won’t release the pressure until I disconnect it from the vehicle. I’ve tried both ends of the hose with the...
