I downloaded the new software last night and was most interested in seeing what if any improvement they made in the lane centering aspect of Driver+.
I've been pretty disappointed so far in the quality of the lane centering and felt like it ping ponged around in the lane. I always felt on pins...
I'm in exactly the same situation, I always used to haul the bikes with a utility trailer behind an SUV. I wanted to streamline the entire thing and it has been so nice to move everything into the bed of the truck. I'm on the shorter side and was nervous about loading bikes into the bed with a...
Yeah, it's a step ramp which is great, very highly recommended!
The rail is attached only to the panel holding the tonneau cover but I strap one side of each bike down to the built in tiedown in each corner of the bed and the other to the tiedown eye on the rail which is mostly a sheer force...
Thanks for posting this, I wouldn't have known about the CCR System otherwise but after seeing your setup I ordered and installed one as well. I'm very happy with it, it's nicely made, installed easily enough and looks so good that people who see it assume that it's a factory option with the truck.
Interested in this as well. I’m in NH with 21” wheels that I went with for quicker delivery. I’ve been very surprised by how capable they are off-road and would be inclined to just stick with them but I’m nervous about the winter- I always run winter tires on all my vehicles and don’t trust All...
Does anyone know the correct torque spec? I just put my truck in its highest ride height and turn to the front wheel so that I could access the fastener and found it to be easily tightened with a 22 mm wrench *edit, 21mm* I snugged it down with about a half a turn but it would be nice to know...
This is pretty much what I had gathered and what I was thinking, but I don’t have your off-roading experience so I appreciate your insight. I have the 21s now and they’re fine, my future decision will be to add a set of 20s with AT tires or just wait for the market to eventually have more...
This is why I ended up switching from 20 inch all-terrain to the 21 inch wheels to take delivery sooner. I live in New Hampshire and mostly intend on taking the truck on forest roads in the White mountains and don’t expect to do heavy duty rock crawling. Not coming from an off-road background...
99xx and just experienced my first issue after 2k miles. Drivers side rear halfshaft completely separated from the motor this evening, of course this is just as I was pulling out of the driveway for a weekend in the mountains. Rivian service was very responsive and a human answered on the second...
Thanks, loving it so far! We've been cramming in as many adventures with it as possible.
I don't have a trailer mounted bike rack, so I'm not sure if it would clear the tent or not. I think for short range trips or longer trips where I want to set a basecamp I'm going to install a ladder rack...
As promised, here are some pics with my Roofnest Condor XL mounted up on the R1T. It overhangs about a foot, as I knew it would, but it fits my family of 4 + our small dog and there's no chance the smaller tents would do that. The boys aren't old enough to be in their own tent yet, so this is...
We picked up our R1T on Friday and wasted no time getting onto some dirt! Just some forest roads in Pawtuckaway State Park for now, but it's a start. Loving the truck so far, it's mind-blowing how good it is!
I pick the truck up tomorrow and will fit the tent up as soon as the cargo rails arrive so you can see how it fits. As far as the tent itself goes, we’ve camped with it a few times and it’s a bit larger than a king sized bed so we all fit, although we’re all on the smaller side so YMMV.
