On a complete side note, I noticed the top-down camera view seems to show a tonneau cover with 4 panels (I have the power cover with 9? slats)
Can any of the tonneau-less folks confirm if their truck has a tonneau in the camera? ?

111xx started getting the 'tock' now with around 700 miles on the truck.
There's no way that something making these sounds isn't also producing wear on part(s)... but hey, that's what warranties are for.
If they shadow Tesla, this could be a risky play. 50/50 chance of being better, or having your vehicle de-contented in the name of cost savings.
I would have preferred a model year newer, but already decided I’m happy with how they are being built right now.
If 800v and a heat pump make it for...
small world! I was there taking delivery of my truck, and getting to see that R1S made the drive worth it.
It seems like they are seeing growing pains for sure, but the staff really went out of their way to make it a good day, and I love the R1T so far.
I guess I'm on the other side of the fence, having just switched from an R1S reservation to R1T.
It's easier to deal with a tarp in an SUV than a clunky, manual tonneau on a pickup. Integrated and powered is a must (for me.)
It should be an option.
