  1. Took delivery on an R1T yesterday without the tonneau

On a complete side note, I noticed the top-down camera view seems to show a tonneau cover with 4 panels (I have the power cover with 9? slats) Can any of the tonneau-less folks confirm if their truck has a tonneau in the camera? ? /
  2. Tonneau Redesign Ready???

Doh.. nice catch definitely excited to see what you get
  3. Tonneau Redesign Ready???

Interesting! I remembered seeing a part number in the Munro teardown video. wonder if -G1 means a revision
  4. Emergency release from inside bed or kidnap-mobile

Look up on the passenger side, inside the bed. similar button to the ones in the gear tunnel
  5. R1S test drive - My honest opinion

Rivian sure seems to leave a lot of power at the bottom 10% or so of pedal travel.
  6. Low speed 'Tocking' when stopping or starting

111xx started getting the 'tock' now with around 700 miles on the truck. There's no way that something making these sounds isn't also producing wear on part(s)... but hey, that's what warranties are for.
  7. Does Rivian have an OBD-II (OBD 2) Port?

Interested to see what you figure out! I just noticed this cable yesterday and intend to pick one up, or make one, and start tinkering.
  8. Delay your order (on purpose)?

If they shadow Tesla, this could be a risky play. 50/50 chance of being better, or having your vehicle de-contented in the name of cost savings. I would have preferred a model year newer, but already decided I’m happy with how they are being built right now. If 800v and a heat pump make it for...
  9. Rivian already starting to give me Tesla vibes (and not in a good way)

Likewise! Here's hoping you don't need to go in for service again anytime soon. Mine is El Cap / BM on 20" ATs
  10. Rivian already starting to give me Tesla vibes (and not in a good way)

Yes sir, I’d not put 2+2 together with this thread at the time?
  11. Rivian already starting to give me Tesla vibes (and not in a good way)

small world! I was there taking delivery of my truck, and getting to see that R1S made the drive worth it. It seems like they are seeing growing pains for sure, but the staff really went out of their way to make it a good day, and I love the R1T so far.
  12. Ocean Coast Black Headliner

The light headliner is the only thing that kept me from choosing OC. it's just too bright
  13. Tonneau Mixed Messages...Concerned!

I guess I'm on the other side of the fence, having just switched from an R1S reservation to R1T. It's easier to deal with a tarp in an SUV than a clunky, manual tonneau on a pickup. Integrated and powered is a must (for me.) It should be an option.
