It’s in the configurator… wonder how long it will last. I have to say that at that price it made me think about it (very briefly) but there are still too many issues for it to be tempting.
Thank you! I had to go check and it is on. Both auto fan speed and auto-ventilate cabin was activated. I wonder if it’s an interplay between those settings. The auto fan might be related to the vents closing all the time but I’d have to do some testing to see.
That sound like no fun. May not be related to your experience but my symptoms include (gen 1):
1) the upper vents defaulting to closed every ride. This can make it feel chilly on a morning commute and I constantly forget about it until I’m sitting at a light wondering why I’m so cold.
2) when...
Never said there aren’t. There is for sure some sort of market for this. And it has that “hey look ma, no hands!” Cool factor to it. I would just personally prefer that the system gets better at monitoring for my mistakes, rather than the other way around.
This is one of the things that baffles me. They build a vehicle that is engaging to drive, then say “hey, pay us to not drive it”. I get that for road trips hwy autonomy can be good, but that’s not what we’re talking about here.
I love this! But I’m also a little worried that I have been so conditioned to pulling out the gear tunnel door that in a parking tight spot, I will now just let it accidentally drop on whatever I’m parked next too.
Thank you for looking into it. For my part, if you find someone local, you should prioritize that sale. If not let me know, (understanding I’m probably not the first in line).
I was looking at the reviews for the EX60 with interest. We currently have an XC60 recharge with almost 40 miles of ev only range and that car does a lot of things very well. Even the OPD is pretty well sorted and it’s a sleeper with 450hp combined. We, and a lot of other XC60 drivers I think...
I too have been considering ditching the 21s and trying 20s. The motivation for me is to reduce harshness and I also think 20s look better on the truck. Other than that I have not had any issues with the 21s so am going back and forth on this constantly (if it ain’t broke…) I am leaning towards...
Agree with dogman… there was at least one person who posted about taking the bed apart. The recent aging wheels videos about their cannonball run also show them taking the bed apart in places.
I recommend using an external search engine to look for “Rivian forums taking the bed apart” or...
Interesting to hear you say that. I also prefer the look and function of the 20” AS/AT that come on the standard. Considered swapping that setup with my 21” on our gen 1 R1T. Watching this thread.
