Curious if anyone else has seen a change in deliver window after switching from R1S to R1T? I just made the switch. Rivian is giving me less than nothing on deliver timing.
I think location probably does matter. I am in St. Louis, two hours from Normal, Illinois. I have seen two R1T’s in my neighborhood alone. My hope was that since I am so close to Normal, St. Louis would be an early delivery destination. Not sure if that logic makes any sense. More likely...
I’d gladly take August. I am a March, 2021 pre-order. Lots of people with older orders than me, but wondering why I haven’t gotten any delivery date timeline. I was under the impression that they were going to send them at the end of June, but I never got anything.
Wondering if there are any more thoughts on this? Consider changing R1S to R1T for earlier delivery, but it's unclear to me if this would be beneficial. Does anyone have any experience with this?
This is an old thread, but wanted to wake it back up. I did some preliminary searching and didn't find much on this (apologize if this is already discussed elsewhere). I have an April, 2021 R1S order. It appears that R1T's are less scarce. I was wondering if changing my order to an R1T would get...
You are correct on many fronts. There are cultish fans out there. In some ways, I was one of them. You are also correct in pointing out how annoying it is for people to take time to put negativity on the Internet. I am 100% with you on that. Sucks the energy out of people.
I am really hopeful...
I need to scan through some of the replies, so I apologize in advance. I have not been to this forum in a while, but I have posted a fair amount about Tesla. However, most of the reason I have come to this forum is to be persuaded to move AWAY from Tesla. I was with Tesla at the beginning (first...
The story is actually a bit more involved. I doubt anyone here wants to hear it, but in the you are bored, here goes:
I have been a huge Tesla advocate for years. I was with the company from the beginning. In the early years, the customer service was amazing and the overall experience in owning...
If you want a new model S, you’ll be waiting a very long time. Major delays on the “refreshed“ model.
Ford Mach e and Porsche are both “sporty” and are currently available.
I agree with your comments on the adventure audience. That said, I am in the same boat as you. It would be a daily driver and people mover for me, and I think it may meet those needs.
Maybe I’ll make a new poll that just has the other options instead of putting them all under the same poll. It would be nice if there was a write in option
I think the people making these comparisons are those that are committed to electric vehicles, but don’t necessarily need a large truck or heavy duty vehicle. They see Rivian cars as being multi-purpose rather than a one trick pony. I fall into that category.
I agree. That's a hefty price tag when their are several options that meet your needs as well if not better. I think it will eventually be more affordable to go green. Sounds like a smart play to wait in your case, given your needs.
