Well, if true, that’s disappointing. So even if the OP was able to get to the 350kw charger, the R1T still would only charge at a 150-180kwh rate?

Man, that sounds like a really slow charge rate. I believe Rivian plans on its vehicles being able to charge at 300kw, but are they able to now?

I hear ya, and am in the same boat. At the earlier projected price of around $60/share I was a definite "yes", but now at around $70/share I'm less sure. Then again, since they are allowing me only 175 shares tomorrow, that extra $1750 doesn't seem like that much. Then when the market reacts on...

So now Rivian expects to open at around $70/share. That's close to 20% higher than they forecast last week. Hmmm, makes me wonder if that's such a good buy. Now I'm on the fence - but since they'll only allow me to buy 175 shares pre-opening day, I'll probably pull the trigger on it.

Seriously, all this comment/concern for a swag box with a cheap water bottle, a couple of refrigerator magnets (or not even magnetic?), and some stickers - in a box that could be ⅓ the size? Say what?

To me, the longer wait may mean newer technology, so I’m not bummed out. My Tesla Model 3 can keep me going until my refreshed Model S is delivered by (hopefully) May, 2022. Then, perhaps in time for the Winter of 2022 my R1T will be delivered. With both companies I look forward to continuing...
