Was very typical for my first guide before I complained enough to get a new one assigned. Now it's on average about a day when I reach out. But have much better luck messaging the service center directly.

Just showed up, I have yet to have any new contact with my Guide.

Just heard from the delivery manager. This was his text: “Hey! Unfortunately, we're still being told hold off on scheduling at the moment. I would recommend doing everything but submitting payment until we're able to officially schedule you.” Hopefully what ever else they are waiting on opens...

Finished my steps (except insurance, waiting until the last minute for this) and just texted my Guide and the delivery manager at the Sacramento service center asking to schedule delivery. Fingers crossed it's not much more of a wait. I'll update here when I hear back.

Just randomly checked my Rivian account and steps are open for my Standard range R1S. Progress finally!

I hope so... I've been told on three different occasions that I'll have access to steps. Every time the time frame they've given me has come and gone. ?‍♂️

Thursday will be 5 weeks for me, original estimate in the shop was 1-5 weeks.

Nope. Last I heard from the delivery manager was that he was hoping to have an update for me by Friday.

Thursday is week 4 for me... so we'll see how this plays out.

March 4 update: We're now half way into "the first week of March" as Rivian promissed it would be delivered this week. I texted the delivery manager and he said that he's "hopefully" he'll have "more information for me by Friday". ?‍♂️

Feb 29 update.... I physically got to see and sit in my R1S today! Service center manager was super cool and had it pulled around for me to check out. He expects to be able to schedule deliver "very soon. maybe even tomorrow". So?!
