Yea seems like most drivers are still produced by Meridian, but the audio processing is done by Rivian instead of the algorithm from meridian audio.. probably some licensing cost Rivian did not want to pay.
They stopped producing meridian R1 vehicles early 2023. So not surprising to have that in a 2023 R1. Adventure forever badging normal if not a launch edition, it would have launch edition written there instead.
I've complained about 4-5 times at different services visits. Even specifically asked for the seal to be replaced and they have refused citing there is no issue..
I'm hoping the new updated 2025 models have fixed these wind issues.
Mine does this as well and causes door to squeak when opening and closing. I have similar wear marks on mirrors, which really shouldn’t be normal. I showered it to the SC and they said all their vehicles have the issue so it’s a design flaw. I tried some dry silicone spray and it didn’t really help.
I recently did just the interior door seal (on body of vehicle not door). I did it on all 4 doors. It made a noticeable quieter interior overall. The rest of the wind is I think just due to the shape of the vehicle. G wagons have the same issue (wind noise) even with all their seals and double...
Working as normal. I think those upper speakers are not full range drivers and only operate as extended range for the enhanced audio feature. Otherwise I figure they would operate even when that option is turned off. You might notice when on they don’t sound all that great. I switch between...
Agree with this 100%. My R1T is incredibly noisy. It sounds like what I imagine a wind tunnel would present.. turbulent and constant. Listening to music cant drown it out, talking to the person next to me, I have to raise my voice quite a bit. I have tried to have the SC look at issues, they...
Monthly rate was $260. Nationwide just increased it to $400 in February. I hadn’t noticed cancelling asap and witching to Geico which is quoting me $220.
California; no accident history; no ticket hx.
100% rental theyve never been pushy about not giving one. Also a good thing. I think when Tesla used to give rentals they were mostly Model S and Model X’s on the road so expensive vehicles. They needed to give loaners. Similar to Rivian now. When R2 becomes dominant seller I could see Rivian...
Damage has happened to me on 4 SC visits. Door dings, scratches, interior damage. Trunk dent.
I fully video and photo document my truck prior to drop off and do a close inspection after and alert them on the spot when I see a problem. Crazy I have never had to do this with any other vehicle...
Totally agree with this. My truck has a total time of about 120 days in service over 13 months of ownership. Several items still not completely resolved but I’m just over it, very close to requesting buy back if not lemon’ing. Most of the time the car seems to just be sitting at the SC. It makes...
Sure.. I get that. Fact is they don’t blow out nearly as much air volume as they did new. Whether that was a software update or unusual wear, no idea. But there’s a notable perceived difference.
I noticed this too when I first got the truck it was freezing and blowing hard. After about a month could barely feel it. That was a year ago. I think others have reported similarly on this. I wonder if it has to do with the padding incorporating the cooling holes collapsing or something.
