My ford fusion would do this and scare the crap out of my one front tire would slip or go into a pot hole and the usual regen you were expecting would lung forward. basically the diff would let the slip tire spin backwards.
I personally don't care what plug is on the side as long as we all go with a standardized plug and everything changes to it. Even this now begs the question is rivian going to change their charging stations then? The plug location is still in the wrong spot for Tesla chargers right?
For anyone that doesn't know there was a redesign of the tailgate cap piece. It wasn't a huge improvement but had more rubber surface and tape I think.
Also while searching images of the differnt caps this came up and is now on my want to buy list...
Fuses don't usually just fall out and the boxes are behind panels. Not saying it isn't possible but looking at the plastics being beat up on the fuse and looks like corrosion starting I bet this was just laying in a parking lot and someone's shoe brought it into your vehicle.
We really need a way to be able to order parts ourselves for the things we should be able to fix "No high voltage components are understandable" that's saying thought the parts are available.
You can masking tape all the gaps drive. see if it improves if it does start removing piece by piece and that will identify the area to concentrate on.
I found mine was a triangle window and they replaced the gasket. I also did the round gasket inserted in the door gaskets didn't see that much...
