Nah. I took delivery of a FG R1T July 2022 and service center let us peek at a RC in a service bay, was surprised how much we liked it. Went El Cap -> RB -> RC(locked) I was nervous about a red vehicle that was a popo magnet but it’s the one I like the most as it changes dynamically...

LE RC, 22” Brights, OC, RUS. My config was Adv RC, 21” road, OC, RUS, spare So basically no spare but launch edition, wheel upgrade for similar price.

I had 2 mach e’s(awd, premium) traded one for R1T and have R1S shop access. I love the mach e, the smaller size, peppy, good efficiency and range but the dealership experience is a joke, might as well be bringing in a spaceship. I don’t care about CarPlay but use it, I’ve been using Spotify...

@MidnightRivian i think it’s very likely you will see it in the shop before September, it was pretty common config for a couple weeks

FE is great my wife loves it, the configurator picture is terrible, it’s much more subtle and often looks gray.

It’s not any different than a non shop purchase. There is no set time period but they will probably push you along after a couple of weeks.

@jplblue i did a R1S demo drives with 22s and had a r1t loaner with 22s, they were great I was surprised at how much I liked them, congrats!
