  1. Jacking with underside panels removed-jack pads required?

Yes you will need jack pucks but tricky to get jack stands under there. There is a thread on here that discusses how you can lift from opposing corners to get jack stands under the others.
  2. 33%

It's feels that way due to accuracy of range especially on LFP vehicles some vehicles just aren't that predictable and the huge variability weather conditions play. I find that Rivian in general does a good job of predicting range on my gen1 and feel comfortable driving it down into single...
  3. What’s Coming in 2026.15 Update, Including Rivian Assistant

Wasn't planning on having conversations with my truck so I guess I'm ok with it being behind a subscription.
  4. US Loyalty Rates

The most shocking number I see there is for Mini, that has got to be a typo or missing data. Not a single person returned to the brand in 2 years for a brand that offers several models?
  5. US Loyalty Rates

I'm not loyal to any brand, I just buy what I like and I'll never buy the same thing again and again. With Rivian I'm sure that is the problem there is no other product yet other than a slightly refreshed version of the same truck. Lucid numbers are probably people trading in for the Gravity...
  6. White powder coated wheels - looking for feedback.

If you aren't meticulous with cleaning and you drive a lot avoid white unless you like them with a rusty tinted look. My truck I have to iron decon a couple times a year to get rid of the rusty brake particles from the side of the truck, can only imagine how bad the wheels would get.
  7. Experiencing Torque Steer?

All fwd cars with a lot of torque will have torque steer. Not unique to Rivian, perfectly normal.
  8. Cup holder piece broke

OK I was bored and curious, took less time to figure it out than writing this post. The two trim panels above and below the cup holder just pop out and three screws 2 on top 1 bottom and slide the whole assembly out.
  9. Why is the R1S so cramped?

The reason for the shorter wheelbase was so they can claim to be the first EV to complete the Rubicon trail. I believe the T with its longer wheelbase can't complete that trail. Yes for the most part the S will spend more time at the mall than offroad versus the T but marketing rights matter...
  10. Rear suspension damage

Yes blow the air through the same valve connectors for filling and vacuum. Just open jounce line at each corner and blow air until all fluid is drained one at a time, close jounce line and move to the next corner until all 4 are done.
  11. 12v battery issues and jumping it

Yes it's possible if the batteries aren't completely toast. What I had to do was get the batteries up to about 6v by hooking up fully charged jumper battery and just let it sit for awhile until the voltage equalized then hook up to a trickle charger with a repair/desulphation setting. Was able...
  12. Official: R2 & R1 Crossbars NOT compatible / interchangeable (Rivian confirmation statement)

Screams like a money grab to me if they changed the mounting system. I can understand if R1 bars didn't fit due to length. Sucks for anyone that will own both vehicles but not much different than most other brands but really throws the whole "sustainability" marketing out the window.
  13. Can you guess the forum member this one belongs to?

People getting to this point are unhinged, I'm guessing a warranty denial but really if you are this unhappy take the loss fix whatever it is and sell the thing, cut your losses early and move on. Doing what this person is doing is just bad for their mental and financial health.
  14. Question on our audio systems....

Loudness is relative to the original soundtrack so can't really judge by the volume number. I'm usually in the 8-18 range depending on the mood or who is in the truck. Also the cabin volume is significantly different between T and S so that will play into the quality and loudness also. I have...
  15. Rear suspension damage

I did it with the whole thing on the ground, the kinetic suspension doesn't affect the springs/shocks it is just fancy sway bars. The pump housing has spring clips you'll need to pry off with a small pick or screwdriver but be sure to not break them was you'll need them to seal the whole thing...
  16. Rear suspension damage

You need to take it out from the plastic housing and foam insulation, there is a small plug on top. You'll need to loosen the wheel flare trim, liner and bumper trim and prop up the pump between the wheel liner and bumper to fill it as there is no room to do it from below.
  17. RiDE Diagnostic Access

Ride menu one works, the window switch one doesn't do anything.
