If they stick to their $80B valuation, don't worry about getting in on the IPO. You'll surely be able to buy it soon afterward on the open market for less. I love Rivan and everything they're doing, but $80B is awfully ambitious at this stage in their life cycle.

Tesla's market cap @ IPO was $1.7B, which provided a lot more upside than Rivian's hoped for valuation.

I greatly prefer the R1T 20's. It's kind of crazy you can pay even more for the R1S wheels in black on the R1T and get an uglier wheel for more. I wish they'd just make the R1T 20" wheel their only 20" design.

Go back to the Cybertruck's release date and compare how many updates Tesla has provided on it vs Rivian on the R1T and R1S. I don't think that's a fair assessment.

I love driving as well, and have a Miata which I track frequently for the full driving experience. But, on long road trips and in heavy traffic, FSD in my Tesla makes getting from point a to b a lot more relaxing and less stressful. I don't expect Driver + to be nearly as good as Tesla's FSD...
