problem with these bikes, at least in california, is that they need to be registered with dmv and insured and you need a motorcycle endorsement as they don't have pedals, that would not work for me.
Just took delivery of my R1t, the build quality seems superior to my model 3, I do think Rivian needs to dial in the acceleration better as it is not nearly as flowing and linear as the 3 and will rarely be using the sport mode.

I was informed by the person running the rivian view drive event in santa barbara a few weeks ago that the payload would remain the same with the max pac as they are modifying the suspension for the extra weight.
