I have seen a lot of speculation so thought I would start a thread for these speculations. I was going to try to create a pole but I could not figure out how to create one. I was originally going to say $57K. But I have seen so much high estimates. I am now going to speculate $59K.

I agree the duel motor performance is not the mass market model. It will be the duel motor long range with lower power but better range that will be the mass market model that I suspect will be the next model they make.

Being able to use R2 as a power backup for my house. Also the adaptive headlights. It will be nice to drive with my brights on without blinding people. And just owning an EV. Can't wait to prove all the people in my life that think EVs suck wrong.

Thanks, this makes sense. And it makes sense for the 110-115 mile range estimates for this performance duel motor with AT tires. I hope they make a Lower HP long range model. I can see a 450 HP duel motor R2 with 350 miles range. That would be the model I would want to buy.

87.4 seems small to me for a large pack. Either R2 is more efficient than most people expect or this is the standard battery. It seems a little big for a standard battery as well. So that makes me think of another option. Maybe there is 3 battery pack options. I remembered when I seen the pick...

I noticed in one of the videos that he was getting 4.9 miles per KW at 44 mph. That seems pretty high to me. I wander what that would equate to at 70 mph.

I would expect the range for the larger battery to be in the 310 to 330 miles range if Rivian wants to be considered competitive.

I do believe the new 46/95 batteries are designed to have better charging curves. I bet is charges much faster.

I believe the cost and range of these estimates are off quite a bit. I think if this was true they would not get a lot of buyers. I know I would not be a buyer. $55k is the max i would pay for the AWD long range and it would need to do a minimum of 300 miles @70 mph.

I would be quite surprised if they put out 50K in 2026. It takes time to ramp up production. My best guess is they will produce in the 25K to 35K range. The need to take their time ramping up production to make sure everything is operating correctly. It would suck to have something overlooked...

I will by quite surprised if the Tri-motor R2 was above 70K. I expect it to start around 60 to 65K range. 70K is just too huge a jump from the 45K starting price for 2 extra motors.
