You should know that your Costa for Tesla plug-and-charge are significantly higher than if you have a Tesla subscription and use the app to initiate.
I have had plug-and-charge with EVGo (now mostly GM branded), but it is not tied into RAN so you do have to download their app and use a credit...
It seems to be a bit of a contrarian investment strategy. In other words, don't buy after the good news and the price goes up. However, that assumes the price will come down. I don't think that is a given.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what would be the difference between the 115 and 119 load index versions? Would one expect differences in wear, ride quality, efficiency?
We are on Pedernales Electric (PEC) here in Hays County.
We have time of use rates, which shift seasonally (summer rates higher). Paying from 4.5¢/kW to charge late at night. Max peak rate during summer is 9.7¢/kW.
When we have both EVs plugged in, I reduce the charge rate for my R1T overnight...
FWIW, I'm now using a Pixel 9a and PAAK is greatly improved and quite acceptable. If anything, it may unlock the car from too far away now.
Since I have a number of handset available, I am able to test and demonstrate that the Pixel 7a is inferior to the 9a, iPhone 13, and even a cheap Motorola...
I bought a black one from HomeDepot in January, made by TracOne. About $350 all in.

Same product sold by Thule for $1150, if you need want to pay lost more for a sticker.

The trick with the grab handle covers is to insert the flat screwdriver between the flat front of the strap and the plastic cover, then pry out. It helps to push the strap flat with the headliner surface.
I found that these U bolts work pretty great...
Personally, if I were doing this, I would look for a roof mounting solution that uses the original mounting points and does not require so.much disassembly and potential for harm to the vehicle. Some simple U bolts would be plenty secure, not require interior disassembly, and not risk creating...
I'm just using the bed extender from my old pickup, tied down to the bed and gate with a few soft shackles. (No bed hardware modifications.) Works just fine.
There were about 3000 vehicles that failed the .18 update. Some (including mine) seem to have been partially updated. Not sure what the root issue was, but that's definitely a testing/validation mistake.
I got my tires rotated at the SC today and they were kind enough to look into it for me.
Fleet records indicate that my R1T is one of many that did not successfully update to 2025.18.01. Although it shows that version in the vehicle, my vehicle record on Rivian's servers show 2025.14.01.
This...
