My cost of service has only been tire rotations. I just wanted to point out that out there is a time cost as well. Charging at home and never needing a gas station is a huge time savings ….. a time is money!!

End 23' S ( Gen 1 production sweet spot IMO) . Does everyting I need it to and want it to. Really the only one in its size/class. Only minor issues that coincided with reg service. Estimating my next vehicle will be Gen 10 R1S FSD quad.

Beacuse romex is in a tight sheath The NEC derates it and it is not acceptle for 48 amps. 6awg in a conduit sheds more heat and is code complient. Despite this many electricians will use 6awg romex on a 60 A breaker to a 48 v charger. I was able to find 6/4 awg in flexible metal sheathing...

You seem to have a good bead on this. +1 for hardwire. THHN in conduit good. 6awg romex bad.

Never seen a print crack from freezing. Melts about 150 F
