Yes. I have. The problem seems to be intermittent. The heat worked fine going out last night. Failed to work properly during the time we were in a restaurant, then slowly seemed to get better on the ride home. Failed again this morning during preconditioning.
I noticed difficulty in preconditioning earlier today with cabin temps not rising past 54 in 25 minutes of operation. There is significant ice accumulation below the windshield wipers resting position that is partially obstructing the vents there. I wonder if this could be contributing?
With temps in the teens here in NY, we lean heavily on Pet Mode to keep our little buddy warm while we are out and about. Lately we have noticed that the temperature drops slowly after we initiate Pet Mode. Nothing life threatening, but an inconvenience and concern. I don’t know how low it...
I’m on my second R1T. Combined about 80k miles and have never owned a better vehicle (suits my use case perfectly). The 12v battery in my R1T was changed out prophylactically by Rivian at my home. It could not have been more seamless. Service has improved geometrically since the early days...
I’m a Rivian lover, not a troll. I was an early adopter and I’m now on my second R1T (tri). I find it somewhat disconcerting that reliability seems to be getting worse, not better.
For Gen 2 owners. There are three dashed lines at the bottom off the UHF indicator. Sometimes all are highlighted, sometimes only one or two. Is this an indicator of the vehicles certainty in its sensor input? I haven’t found any documentation describing it.
We have a problem with the rear seat heat (R1T) shutting down as-soon-as the vehicle is put into gear after pre-heating. Leaving the rear heat on also does not persist from drive-to-drive even without preconditioning.
Is anyone else having Level 2 charging issues after the last update? I have had several failures to initiate charging. The error seems to be on the Vehicle side, not the charger side. Granted, it has been very cold here, but I have charged before in this weather with no issues.
I might go $250 if I don’t have the hassle of crating for shipping, but I just posted the adv 20 minutes ago. I think they will sell. A wheel shop can make them look like new.
20” OEM Bright wheels. With TPMS, without center caps. Replaced by insurance after a very minor scuffle with a curb when my R1T was in a minor accident. I saved them for personal use, but now have. Gen 2 with 22s. Asking $300 each. Located east of Binghamton, NY. Photos attached.
