@Hayden123982 is correct. I had the manual tonneau configured. My guide removed it. The slots in the bed are there so that the manual cover, purchased later in the Gear Shop, can be installed later.

Totally agree. Rivian has known about these difficulties for years and should have been MUCH better managing their customers expectations. I am currently watching EV-6 reviews on YouTube. I think I will just keep my old tundra and go that route.
