I have a 2021 Toyota Highlander hybrid. Its tank size is 17.1 gallons, and its stated mpg highway is 34. That math should mean my range is 581 miles if I run it out of gas. I rarely get 400 miles out of a tank. I do drive it 75 miles per hour quite a bit on interstate. That is 69% of stated...
I just had that happen yesterday about 70 miles from home. I did a soft and then a hard reset and that seemed to fix it. A little unnerving to see all those lights go on when you are trying to go home. I hope it is something minor for you.
As others have said a good sleeping bag is key. I have backpacked in the Red lodge area just East of Yellowstone. I have slept in a tent with just a sleeping bag in my undies down to low twenties. Another idea for you is to get sleeping bags that can zip together and you can keep each other...
I feel for the OP that is frustrating. We had a similar experience recently not sure if it was lack of service or the Rivian connected with EA before we could start it in the app. Is there any sure way to make sure you get the membership pricing? The charger says to plug in and then start it...
I am curious what year the op Rivian is? I just got a 2025 Tri in January and the outlets randomly quite working and so far they checked wiring and replaced the inverter. Now they are going for the fuses to try to fix it. I did not run anything that should have caused this so am thinking it...
I think the idea is to slowly let up on the go pedal and you control how quickly it stops. Yes, if you let completely off the go pedal it will slow down rather quickly. It does help your effiency so that is why they designed it that way. Most get used to it pretty quickly. As for R2...
Very important data! Thanks! The frunk looked a little snug like not all bags would fit if it was a larger golf bag. The gear tunnel in my R1T is my favorite feature as it is perfect for my golf clubs!
I live across the border in MN and they require front plates. I did not want to drill a hole for the license plate holder. So, I just carry the current plate in the frunk. I have 3 and half years and never been stopped. I asked a local officer and he said they would not stop someone just for...
I had a 22 R1T for three years and used auto ride height the entire time. My 21-inch road wheels lasted for 41,000 miles. I think using conserve mode is harder on the tires than auto ride height. I was very careful to only use conserve after I was up to speed on a highway or interstate...
I thought we got one of the last 2025 Tri R1T in January. Not to rub salt in your deal but we got the free all terrain upgrade so 20-inch ATs and underbody added on for free. It also had 0% financing. We had a deal on one and it disappeared from the shop, so I gave up and then a week later...
That's awesome! We are thinking of either getting a R2 tri or a Gen3 R1S. Any other recommendations of medium to difficult roads around Moab area that are scenic but not too technical?
Thanks for the write up and pictures. We are from MN too and plan to go to Moab area this fall. It did not look like you had rock sliders in the pictures. Can you do most medium trails without worrying about scratching the truck. I have a new 2025 TRi and would prefer not to scratch it up.
