Rivian has been focusing on R1S Dual Standard and Max production since they restarted the plant in Illinois. Anyone has a clue on when they intend to start assembling R1T again ?

I was looking at the inventory of R1S & R1T available to Canadians and was surprised by the number of discontinued 2023 and 2024 trucks allocated for our market. Even more unfair is the allocation of newly released Gen 2 R1... Is Canada a priority to Rivian or just a place to dump the unsold...

Since the announcement of Gen 2 R1, I see no movements in the number of R1T and R1S Gen 1 available in the shop… As much as RIVIAN would benefit from the recognition that the Gen 2 is really a major upgrade, that is not going to help the market value of their inventory of Gen 1 trucks and IMO...
