Simple 10" JL Subwoofer Install in R1T

Iā€™m not following. It wonā€™t fit in the storage tray but it only takes up half the space? I like what youā€™ve done but Iā€™d love to find a solution that fits in the tray.

    Planning first road trip

Freeway driving in conserve mode doesnā€™t do the same damage to the tires as it would around town. Once Iā€™m up to freeway speed I switch to conserve for longer trips and it definitely helps with range.

Cybertrucks in the wild - quick comment

Can the CT carry 3 mtbs and 3 longboards? Itā€™s not like the R1T is a big truck, but at least you can still use it as a truck.

    Camp Speaker Curiosity Teardown šŸ§°

How can it be so over-engineered and well made, but so quiet? Am I the only one who is surprised by the lack of volume? We have portable Bluetooth speakers 1/4 the size that pump out more sound. I enjoy the speaker and we use it a fair amount, but I wish it went a lot louder.

    20" tire recommendations

Iā€™ve done a lot of Mtn and fast freeway driving since I installed the defenders, so I donā€™t have a good sample size for comparison. My gut feeling is they are slightly less efficient (~5%) than the 21ā€ pirellis, but that may just be my driving tendencies lately.

    20" tire recommendations

No traction problems at all. Definitely better snow traction than the A/S OEMs. Been driving in a ton of rain in Northern CA and Iā€™m really glad I got them.

    Steering wheel height

    Thank you. That did it!

    Steering wheel height

I feel like my steering wheel isnā€™t raising up as high as it used to go. Iā€™m 6ā€™ tall and even with the steering wheel adjusted as high as it goes and I still canā€™t see the turn signals and other items hid by the steering wheel on the screen. Anyone of you running into the same problem and...

    20" tire recommendations

I moved from the Pirelli AS to the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 when my Pirellis wore out. Really like the LTX M/S2. Used them in Tahoe this last week in a lot of snowy icy conditions and they worked like a champ. Really confident, solid, plowed through crud way better than my pirellis did last...

California 3 individual 21” wheels and tires for spares $250 each - Sacramento and Foothills Area

I have 2 left. Iā€™m open to shipping but I havenā€™t looked into it at all. Iā€™d be willing to do it if it doesnā€™t take a ton of work on my end.

California 3 individual 21” wheels and tires for spares $250 each - Sacramento and Foothills Area

Not for a short term spare. I asked a Rivian mobile tech when he was out fixing a rattle and he said it was not a problem, even if it was on for multiple days.

California Sold: 3 individual 21” wheels and tires for spares $250 each - Sacramento and Foothills Area

I just got new 20ā€ Atomic Wheels to replace my OEM 21ā€ wheelset (Iā€™ll post a review when I have a little time on them). Iā€™m keeping one of my wheels as a spare and selling the other three for $250 each. 20k miles on these tires, and the tread is getting pretty low (especially the two fronts)...

Boat Towing (20' 4000 lbs boat) - Like Butter

Yep, best towing vehicle Iā€™ve owned (other than range). Suburban, Tahoe, Bronco donā€™t even come close. But most of my towing is short, so range isnā€™t an issue for me.

Problems problems, all these damn problems! Let's hear from those who've had little / no issues! šŸ—Æļø

One year and 21k problem-free miles. My only problem is that my wife and I both want to drive the R1T over our Audi Q7, so weā€™re racking up the miles. Btw, we took it off-roading a couple weekends ago and was blown away with how well it did. The smooth torque is a game-changer compared to...
