We have a 2022 R1T with 21s and just bought a 2025 R1S Dual/Max on the Goodyear 20s for my wife. I don't know if it's the 20s, the suspension, or likely combination of both but I think the 2025 has a much better ride quality around town. I only drive the truck in all purpose/standard/soft and...
Ordered mine from Tire Rack and did all my scheduling with Discount Tire right through Tire Rack and had them shipped to the location by my house. Was a quick and painless process. The only hiccup was they only had two pucks and had to use jacks in the truck instead of the lift. I told them to...
I just got around to steering up DriveCam and have done two soft resets today to get the system to recognize the USB. These are the first resets I have done in 18mo of ownership and 34k miles.
Way better than me! About 18mo and 31k miles in we are averaging ~2.1mi/kWh. I do a lot of interstate driving at 75-85mph though.
Appreciate you sharing. Iām getting pretty close to the wear bars and have to decide if Iām going to continue with the 21s or make a change.
Same here. I have over 15k on our 21s and they are in good shape. I rotate every 5k and only drive in all purpose -standard. I donāt expect to get over 40k miles out of them but should be acceptable.
As others have said, PlugShare is your friend so download load it, get out there on the road, and contribute to the feedback loop. Look at the recent reviews along the routes in your area because it seems that the non-Tesla Level 3 charging experiences can be quite different depending on where...
We just got back from a 1400mi roundtrip weekend from the Kansas City area to Colorado Springs. Iāll reiterate what others have said coming from Tesla, the Electrify America charging experience and quality is total garbage. Through seven total EA charging stops across 5 different locations I...
Our R1T came from the factory with PPF on the gear tunnel doors and behind the front fender wells. I had been considering doing PPF on the front and mirrors but Iām already noticing stains or dirt intrusion along the edges of the PPF on the gear guard doors. Itās like it is under the PPF edge...
We bought our 2013 Model S as a certified pre owned car in 2017 and owned it for 6 years. During that time I only charged to 80% daily and charged to 100% maybe 4-5 times a year on average and always tried to time it to reach 100% when we were ready to leave. We rarely used DC fast charging...
That would be a lot of fun if I was solo and Iād love to hear about your experience. I think 2700mi might challenge my patience if I had my whole family.
Iām on the fence for taking the truck on a 600mi trip (each way) to Summit County, CO to ski in March. And thatās with a guaranteed overnight...
Our 2013 Model S would have been been drawing about 40KW or less at 67% SOC depending on temps.
We charged at an EA station once so far in our R1T just to try it but were around 85% SOC and drawing about 50KW. I thought that was pretty good compared to our old Tesla.
My past experience with...
My 12yr old son and I went to the off-road park below the dam and spillways at the lake we go to. The surfaces are pretty rugged stripped to bedrock with some water crossings with larger rocks. We aired down to about 35-38lbs on the 21s just to test it out and I think it made the ride a lot...
