Wow, so 12v battery sounds like an Achilles heel? Just got my first error/replace warning and now sitting in new Riv Louisville, CO center. $500 for a 12v battery replacement?! Is it a gold-lead alloy? I used to change my own on Ram 1500. Oil changes not very expensive per year as well...

Agree and that is #1 issue with my 2023 R1T. Its 21 inchers, no choice in tire. BUT what if we order my wife's upcoming R2 with 20"? Can I switch them onto my R1T?? Will that work? That might actually create a marital dispute. ;-P

Yes and this happened to me this week multiple times while navigating through Nebraska and the electron desert of the Dakotas. Also terrible at finding chargers. That’s a fail. ABRP not great at finding best chargers. Best tools are PlugShare, Google Maps, and a brain.

@Mike777 we are in exactly the same situation for a different reason. Leased a Lyric with a great deal for 2 years while waiting for an R2. Need room for 3 dogs but empty nesters. Less worried about the space and want more rugged vehicle.

I randomly lost a couple as well. Figure they just fall off and are a commodity at this point. Who would want to steal them? Buy cheap 3D printed ones.

Minor irritation, station coding. Major irritation, cellular service or radio work well only in the city. Someone should invent technology that allows signals to come from space to cover broader areas. Maybe from like…a satellite? Nah, just a crazy thought.

Buy it and congrats. I have RIT quad Feb 2023 delivery. No significant complaints. I use it as a hauling and commuting truck, not an over lander thing. Annoyances: Tonneau FUBAR but that’s over now Should have ordered with 20’s but it snowed today and 21’s still doing OK. No satellite radio...

Tidal, Apple, and Sirius all have lag problems for me. I don't live in the city and cell service is sketchy. I think it's a cell service/buffering issue? Also subscribed to Connect+, not sure why. Wish Rivian had satellite.

I had a home visit for noise issue and Rivian guy said he saw fluid leak under compressor attachement. He said this is common and to expect a sag but I have not noticed any. Likely a gasket fail? I have an appointment in couple of weeks. Will update if anything needs repair.

I just keep driving and give 'em a wipe when I park. It's annoying but not that frequent in CO.

Is that a WT trim? Yes, I think it was a Chevy Silverado 2024 Work Truck, great range 450 miles but the interface was not great, similar to all GM. Silverado EV will be a great truck at some point. But that and the Scout will not beat the price that I paid for my R1T.
