To close to loop, Rivian transferred my launch edition wrist band from 2023 Gen 1 to 2026 Gen 2 vehicle and it's working pretty well. I will say due to the Apple Watch key and overall advancements for Gen 2 keys, I am not sure if it's that useful anymore.
You’ve inspired me to look into it. I have 2 wristbands from the launch edition days and figured they would not work.
I just called Rivian and they informed me that those keys are still associated with the previous vehicles and they can’t be removed due to security breach - it’s crazy to me...
I have one of those suction cup mounts with the Starlink Mini installed inside my R1T. I used it extensively on a road trip, and it worked really well. It definitely impacts the speed, but it’s still more than enough for work or streaming.
Highly recommend TeslaTap as well. I had two separate Lectron adapters fail within year of usage - charging would get interrupted and restart frequently.
Trail and error. I would let the truck go to sleep and the wake it up, compared what new device popped up in the list. One useful option is also look for device that tends to upload a ton of data to AWS.

Actually, just received another callback from a different service representative. They're supposedly working on sending another update either today or tomorrow at the latest to the impacted vehicles. Anyone hearing the same?
Just spoke with Rivian service to hopefully get an update. Unfortunately, there is none at the moment, but it should be coming s00n. The one piece of information that was shared with me is that Rivian is now recommending not to drive the vehicle. The person on the call could not explain why, so...
