There is a simple partial solution. Add "Rental Replacemnt" to your insurance policy. It costs me $22/year through my Rivian/Nationwide policy. When car is in shop, you get reimbursed for rental.
Now I get it. I forgot that my Rivian connects to my home wifi network, and prioritizes it over the AT&T data connection. So, you just select the Starlink as the wifi network instead of the home wifi network. Clever
I don't understand the question. It is my understanding that AT&T provides connectivity to all Rivians. Are you suggesting it's possible to somehow replace the ATT&T connectivity with Starlink or are you asking about running a separate parallel network?
I had the same experience. I was blocked from streaming a few days ago and had to sign-up for Connect+ to reinstate streaming . My 2 month free trial apparently started Aug 15 (I think the free trial started Aug 15 for all existing owners, whether they knew it or not), and it will remain free...
Yes, I contacted Customer Support. Apparently, for all existing owners, the 2 month free trial of Connect+ began on August 15. I assume the free trial for new owners will begin when they activate it.
I do not understand, that's why I said I was confused. I will say that I think I've had free connectivity since I purchased my R1T in 11/22. I think I've also been receiving Tune-In radio for free since that date. I've also been receiving Spotify, but I am a subscriber out side of rivian-sphere too.
