  1. Requires Location Sharing

Not sure about location for the 2026. But, if you’re thinking like I did that your 2022 will get removed, it won’t. You remove it by taping you initials in the app, tap manage account then tap remove vehicle.
  2. Why Did You Choose Rivian Over Competitors?

Wanted electric truck, but not as big as GM or Ford. Cybertruck way too ugly. I owned an F-150 once but too big for my needs. I've usually had, S-10, Ranger, Tacoma size trucks.
  3. Flat Tire on a 7,000+ lb EV: What’s Your Plan and Tools?

EV Sportline jack kit. 120v tire inflator Full size spare (in the bed compartment). Used a few times since 2023.
  4. Heat and A/C vents mysteriously close

Yep, leave it to me. My feet get hot and or sweaty fast with only floor vents and by the time I turn it down enough to stop that I'm shivering cold so I always want the dash vents on.
  5. Heat and A/C vents mysteriously close

Ever since it got cold my dash vents close every trip and I have to reopen them. It seems Rivian is obsessed with keeping heat on floor vents only. Driving me crazy. Even turning auto off doesn’t seem to stop them closing.
  6. Wishlist of small things that Rivian can improve (that bug you)

Oh, I agree. It was never a problem in any other vehicle and it didn't matter if it was radio, cassette tape, CD or bluetooth, they all resumed. This was just my solution. There maybe an android equivalent but I just don't know.
  7. Wishlist of small things that Rivian can improve (that bug you)

You can setup a play music shortcut and use an automation to play music when connected to Rivian.
  8. Windshield washer fluid leaking from front camera- easy fix?

had this fixed a few weeks ago on mine. Had a family member take it to the service center while I was working. He waited for it took about an hour fix.
  9. Dashboard regen indicator new color?

I noticed this change yesterday also.
  10. Charging: RAN, Tesla SC or Electrify America?

I usually try for a Tesla supercharger first as the most reliable in my experience and often best price. EA is good when working properly which does seem to have improved. I tend to avoid EVgo as most around my area are still the old 50 kW and they tend to be pricey. I have never used or even...
  11. WiFi Connection Problem

I believe a while back some people were having problems if the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz were sharing the same SSID (Network name). I already had mine separate so I didn't experience that issue. Not sure if it was ever resolved or not.
  12. 2025.22 Update - Release Notes

What it sounded like to me was the current all purpose would just be renamed Conserve and the new all purpose would be full time AWD.
  13. First real tow with Rivian - Generally underwhelming experience

Oh, 100%, No adaptive cruise, no regen assist, no blndspot, no emergency braking. Some lawyer at Rivian is terrified of trailer towing.
  14. What regen mode do you use?

I've always used standard, tried high a few times but seemed to sensitive to me.
  15. Level 2 charging speed question

Most likely your supply voltage dropped a little. 240 nominal could be 228-252v Remember 1kw is 1000 watts. W=VxA so if your getting 228v x 48a that's 10.9kw so pretty close to 10.8. I've seen about that much difference on different days or times of day.
  16. 20" Inch Help?!: 20" all-season tire advice needed

I put the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 in 275/60R20 on about a week ago and love them so far. Very good ride quality. Softer/smoother than the genial grabbers I replaced.
  17. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

That image shows power was being applied to the rear motors guessing that’s why no regen.
  18. Awaiting delivery on a r1s tri-motor thinking about canceling due to apparent reliability issues?

I’ve had an R1T since Nov. 2022. I put 60k miles on my 22 in 2 years. It was at the service center two times for a total of less than 2 weeks. First time since I was able to drive to the service center I got a loaner R1T. The second issue was more severe with a constant beeping high voltage...
  19. My R1T won't pair with my new iPhone

When I replaced my iPhone I didn't remove the previous phone first. Problem is when you transfer or restore backup everything including phone name gets copied and the Rivian doesn't understand it is different so I won't setup new. They way I fixed it was to use another family members phone key...
  20. RIVIAN Execs! Brakes stoped working in highway at over 76MPH

That is scary, glad everyone is ok. Something else to consider. Towing a 4k lbs. trailer without brakes is illegal in most states. Trailer brakes are usually required starting at 3k lbs. but it does vary by state. Also, some states have towing speed limits.
