Iām able to tighten the front mounts with the long hex bit and handle they provided with the tent. It extends just out past the rear of the tent so I can manually crank it down. Did you not get that long bit?

I have a gen 1 and I donāt have any issues. I have it turned off at home so it doesnāt trigger in the garage, but when Iām out and about no problems (unless you consider standing by the door for one second a problem). If Iām camping I use camping mode to avoid those lock/unlock issues.

Oh yeah, if youāre on one of those 50-75kw DC slow chargers that would be a different story. I avoid those if thereās any other option and even then Iād hopefully only charge enough to get to the next decent DCFC.
