at the end of the day the story’s all revolve on geography … I have had awesome experiences with the service Center and wait times of no more than a week in several years.
My Bro. It’s a joke over here in BC too. 1/5 fast chargers work and there is zero rhyme or reason.
Ex, Lynn valley petro 200kw fast charge works. Week later I go to to Burrard st petro fast charger doesn’t work - call support raise tickets nothing. the Burrard one used to be the only charger...
Hey brother I just loaded mine into the R1T for the first time. Curious what you decided on for ratchets and securing it? Can you share what you’ve done maybe even a picture or explain how many points and where you strapped it? Here’s my first go at it…. I called Rivian support they said lower...
Great information here. Slightly separate but related question. I'm looking at your AW01 wheel and noting the different width/offset VS the AW10 and curious if you can comment on any range testing for the AW01 and also in general the added width/lower offset choice for the AW10 ...
update: testing quite a few different pressure inflation ranges and would say 55lbs cold is a good middle ground where the ride quality is maintained and range is far improved over 48lbs cold.
Got mine into snow last night finally; interestingly have a few data points on range.
OEM pirellis on 20” AT - 130km trip uphill through mountain pass to 600m from sea level:
2.56km/kWh (10 Celsius)
20” Hakka LT3 - same 130km trip on diff day below freezing temps with snow for half the...
Curious what PSI you are running them at? Noted they’re 80psi max so am curious if running a bit higher than 48PSI would make more sense to edge out some more mileage/range .. am going to throw 60psi and see how they roll
Just got my LT3 Hakka’s mounted and so far so good. They are oddly as quiet or quieter than the 20” pirelli’s around city speeds. Highway tests to come and should be in some snow potentially this weekend.. also will get a few energy consumption measurements. I took several on the same mountain...
oh shit with the studs hey? I put too many clicks on to want to deal with the noise however there would be some moments I’d really enjoy them this season.. I think.
getting my hakkas on this Thursday! Placing them on the stock 20” shiny blacks. Hope they do a good job!
Went to get snow tires mounted on my 20” A/T shiny blacks and the shop said they could not do it without scratching the rims. It has to do with the concave on the wheel spoke designs.
FYI - make sure you find a shop with a touchless tire mount machine and avoid yourself either a scratched wheel...
This is awesome. It’s nice to see continuous innovation even though many have their doubts on lucid. Their product is actually very nice. My pops is rollin in the air grand touring — now I can steal some juice from him when he’s not looking :bandit:
Great to see more unlock lock improvements .. it needs it. Curious if anyone who has two homes has figured out how to get these settings to apply at two locations?? My one house it always goes off and on in the garage while the other home is peaceful.
Exactly why I don’t suspect the OPs issue is related to the car wash - no one went and manipulated a one way seal to relieve water for drainage to relieve a electrical sensor fault related to the battery/moisture. A sleep cycle fixed it …
Ps. have you seen the water testing bays in the r&d...
Interesting to say the least.. one would have to think water can’t get that close to the battery if the vehicle is capable of wading 3ft water. I can’t see that being the reason. Strangers things have happened however
:-P
It’s Fit and Finish … not fitness; it’s interesting to note though as every Rivian I’ve ever seen notably has superior fit and finish vs Tesla. The Rivian attempts to feel premium inside in contrast to a Tesla which is very basic imo.
R1S is a decently big vehicle though I’d have to agree...
I concur! Noticed on hill climbs on the highway, conserve would get hot up front for sure (see screen) yesterday. I also question if it’s actually saving battery in conserve going up hill vs using all four… not sure I can figure it out other than doing the same drive again in all purpose and...
