The fronts (a little extra time in the front as they started there) were down to the wear bars. Backs had a little more, but not much. I might do the first rotation at 5k , followed by 7.5, but not sure it matters. All four were ready for replacement.
Final numbers. I decided to replace them with the same. MyTireGuys in Massachusetts installed them again and have always done fast, good work in my opinion. Overall happy with the Goodyears.
To add a data point for Gen1 R1T windsield replacement.
Rivian SC estimate is $2,000.
Rivian certified collision center estimate is $2,700.
Insurance approved both so there will be $0 cost to me. The only hassle is that I will need to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed for work at...
Just about need to replace these (inspection in May). I'm at 5/32 with 23,900 miles. Efficiency is 2.14.
What is a reasonable estimate for the Michelin Defender LTX MS/2 in terms of miles?
Currently have a reservation, but would prefer to move it to the R3. Has there been any word on whether or not they'll offer that (or will it be cancel, and file a new reservation)? Wouldn't mind being at the front of the R3x line.
Voted no because I do not want autonomous driving. It doesn't interest me at all. I like driving (I know of its supposed benefits). Nothing wrong with it, it's just not for me. It doesn't have to do with cost.
I used to have range anxiety and over-planned, but now I barely think about it. I charge to 80% (or when I get below 50-60%) at home about 3 times a week and to 100 before a long trip. It depends on the distances I am going to be driving in the next 1-2 days (lots of variance for me). Fast...
1. Absolutely (If I can afford to)
2. Great. Back seat fits two kids (5'1", 6'1") easily. A third fits comfortably.
3. Fine. Lots of space, especially if you have a tonneau cover.
4. Don't know.

On a day-to-day basis, it works great for me, and I really like it. When it is going to be annoying because I am going to be walking around the truck a lot (tailgating, camping) and not at home, I simply turn it off.
From time to time, for example, in a parking lot, when my phone is in my back...
Not an expert, but practicality/tradition are often reasons. An inch is not sensitive or specific enough; 32 is a nice, easily divisible number (see the circle and 360 degrees). Others can elaborate more:

I snapped mine in extreme cold. When I was back home a few days later and the truck was in the garage, the broken latch opened fine. Service replaced the latch soon after (for no cost).
Additionally, in my 2023 R1T center console, there is an elastic strap at the back, which is perfect for storing such docs that you won't use on a regular basis.
Usually, this Blackstone gridle, but we are often a large group and I add the Camp Chef propane stove (which has survived a lot and works like a pro every time).
