  1. Off-Road Wheeling with Megawatt Rock Sliders on an R1S - A Review

If getting sliders, Megawatt is the way (a great design with fantastic quality and welds). If just need running boards, then get those. But, if needs slider, there's not much point to the ones that don't provide full coverage or lack a bump out. The install is also relatively easy. Removing...
  2. Rivian as a Toad (towed behind a motorhome?)

No. It cannot be viably flat towed aside from a short amount to charge battery. My understanding is that if flat towed it will continue to try to charge the battery beyond capacity because the electric motors eventually tie to the wheels and there is regen involved, etc.... I don't understand...
  3. EV Sportline R1S Sliders are installed photos & feedback

They are past pre-production at this stage based on prior communications to those of us holding orders.
  4. EV Sportline R1S Sliders are installed photos & feedback

Thanks everyone for sharing photos. The EV Sportline are shorter than I anticipated. From installed pictures, it appears the DCE version covers more length (not a lot, but just enough). The Megawatts appear to provide the most coverage, but at the cost of ground clearance. Anyone see the DCE...
  5. Navigation Shenanigans

Anyone else have trouble with Navigation getting the gps location right? In particular, nav well tell me I'm a mile away from an exit that I just passed and will also fail to recognize I'm on an interstate/freeway and keep directing me through side streets, etc. It's gotten to be useless even...
  6. Anyone have an "SOS calling not working" issue?

Literally picked up R1S from service center after 25 day repair and first thing I see after I start up is "SOS calling not working". Soft reset, hard reset, etc. do not resolve. Ticket on initial repair never should have been closed with this notification popping up, now have not wait a couple...
  7. Catastrophic Failure?

Any updates? In similar boat, had the truck one day before screens shut down and center compartment locked. Getting close to 30 days on the clock following failed attempts to fix and now awaiting yet another attempted fix (this time rewriting scripts/code with no actual time line for completing...
  8. Fish or Cut Bait? No Screens Day 1 and Rivian Service is Stumped

Update: Rivian identified the issue after multiple module replacements as a central security system coding script error to the system/cloud. There is no timeline for a fix (could be days, weeks, months...no one has an answer). Checking on getting back in line for an allocation ?
  9. Fish or Cut Bait? No Screens Day 1 and Rivian Service is Stumped

Over a couple weeks and three CGM modules as well as other modules. Each module takes a couple days to source. Basically tossing darts randamly.
  10. Fish or Cut Bait? No Screens Day 1 and Rivian Service is Stumped

That's (B) the new allocation option, but no Meridian audio then and months out at the very least.
  11. Fish or Cut Bait? No Screens Day 1 and Rivian Service is Stumped

Background: Received long awaited R1S with some very specific upgrades and Meridian speakers. Super Sharpe looking in person and handled very well day one. Day two is when things went downhill. We had no/blank screens and locked center compartment. Tried all reset options with customer...
