An occasional update like “please be patient, we are now shipping adapters for vehicle owners with shipment dates of XYZ” would not be too difficult.
I am not super active in the forum but I am pretty sure that Rivian said (at least orginally) that any use of an aftermarket adapter is not supported and would void the warranty.
Understood but if it purely a function of when you took delivery, someone knows that January 2023 deliveries are up next (for instance). Zero transparency is hard to understand - even though it is Tesla that is shipping them.
I took shipment of my R1T in February of 2023. When Rivian asked to opt in for the free NACS Adapter (late March), I responded immediately. I am doing a bunch of travel in August and am counting on having that option. The fact that Rivian support has ZERO clue as to where I sit in the queue...
So won't the adapter have to include a long extension or we will have take two tesla spots as they charge on the other side? Am I thinking about that correctly?

Just me or do you find you drive around with the blinker on a lot? I can't always hear the bump with the road noise and music. I think the left/right blinker indicator was added some time back BUT it is positioned directly in the same sight line that is obstructed by my steering wheel...
So for those of you realizing you need a PA state inspection, I just had mine done along with a tire rotation at D'Avicos Auto Repair in Wayne. They were great! They have a set of the jack pucks so no need to bring/buy them.
Just got mine, no instructions BTW, and the first pull to release the clip broke the very cheap, plastic end to the cable pull - ugh. Also know that you need to make sure you leave the panel you are installing hanging out to overlap the panel behind it before you push it in - again no...
Hi - I have been getting this warning now for a week, and it goes off sometimes every 10-15 seconds as I drive. I get it, I need to have it checked, but in the meantime is there a way to disable it? The warning is coming from the passenger gear tunnel.
I just reached out as I lost access with the new update. If you want Premium, scan the we code and you do have to provide a card but it’s free for the first year.
