Just me or do you find you drive around with the blinker on a lot? I can't always hear the bump with the road noise and music. I think the left/right blinker indicator was added some time back BUT it is positioned directly in the same sight line that is obstructed by my steering wheel. Moving that left/right arrow down to the bottom of the display would seem to fix that no mater where you position the steering wheel.

I think the indicators have always been there but a lot of people never see them because they are blocked by the steering wheel.

At a minimum, I wish they’d render the indicator arrows with a solid green fill when on a white background rather than just a green outline so that those people who can see them stand a better chance of noticing them. I am able to have seat and steering wheel adjusted properly and I can still see the indicators, but I find the green outline to not have enough contrast with the white (day) background to be as noticeable as other vehicles, especially when sun is shining on the unhooded display. At freeway speeds with music on I find the sound is very easily missed.

When you combine the placement and subtlety of the arrows, the subtlety of the sound, and the fact that the stalk always returns to center even with the signal on, I think it is way too easy to miss.

My first new car had a feature where if you drove for more than ~1 mile it would start sounding the warning chime to draw your attention to the fact that the signal was on.

I don't have this issue. Indicators are a legal requirement to display so they were always there.

I can not hear the blinker when driving at highway speeds.

My steering wheel blocks much of my display, which is frustrating since offering me a different drivers screen layout is a trivial job given the beauty of a software based screen.

So... yes.

If I have my music turned up I definitely find myself ducking my head to see if the turn signal is on because the sound is hard to hear if there is any background noise... Especially if I am not using the "full" turn signal that stays on.

Same for me. Hoping they allow a 'louder" setting for turn indicator some day.

Humm, so move my seat or steering wheel to a spot that is not comfortable for me...
if you raise or lower both the steering wheel and seat by the same amount, can you not bring those into view and maintain the comfortable relationship between seating and the wheel, with what would be a small impact on the reach to the pedal? not being sarcastic, honest question because i can see them fine and didn't realize this was such an issue.

I've always primarily treated the steering adjustment on my vehicles for being able to see the driver display. Maybe that's why I don't have your problem. I could probably find a slightly more comfortable position that causes me visibility issues but it's not like it's uncomfortable where I have it.

makes sense, curious why the blinker indicators which everyone needs to see are not lit up along the bottom (like most cars) which I think would be visible to anyone of any height

They need the alarm to beep after it is active for awhile.

Unless there's some sort of law or regulation on it that I'm not aware of, I can't figure out any reason why they wouldn't give us the option to adjust volume (within any required minimum/maximum boundaries) and choose a "traditional" blinker sound instead of the whatever that default sound is supposed to be (water dropping? sticks hitting?)
