I've no issues with the support for my G1 R1T. Rivian has been very responsive to fix issues. Yes the power tonneau cover took three replacements and two design changes to get it right but the last one is so smooth and reliable. Rivian kept at it to get it right. I do wish they did something...
Stopped at Kittery Trading Post in Maine and that station construction is well underway. Poles, trenching, conduit and Rivian charging equipment are in the works and on site.
The site is demobilized with the transformer pad empty. This site could sit this way for some time. Transformers are long lead time items these days. The site still needs some civil construction to relocated the traffic flow, curbing, bollards, paving, signage and striping. Probably still months...
I would not expect this site to be open before March. The installation crew is making good steady progress but there is a fair bit of work remaining. It appears to be a well planned project so expect they have the transformer ready to deliver and they can finish on schedule. Would love to use my...
Stopped by check progress yesterday. Switchgear and Power Conversion units are set. New pole installed for utility service but did not see a transformer pad or transformer. The 6 dispensers were on pallets and the locations were being prepped for pads. Five are lined up for parking spaces and...
I drove by the future Rivian RAN location in West Lebanon, NH this weekend and it looks like they have a contractor mobilizing for the install. This RAN couldn't happen fast enough. I will not even consider stoping at Electrify America in West Lebanon. It is a disaster.
I was looking for a place to charge on Mount Desert Island, Maine by Acadia National Park and a Rivian Waypoint popped up. It was unexpected and very welcome.
It was easy and free to charge with a nice trail on this quiet side of the island for activity. The trail was newly blazed with Compass...
Installed outside so it can be used with the R1T parked in three different locations. I'm also thinking about adding a cable past through on the garage door to charge when inside on cold nights.
Rivian 48A setting, #4 THHW install to the main load panel 60A circuit breaker.
I am very happy with the functionality of the entertainment, navigation system as it keeps improving with software releases. Yes, there are some areas that need improvement like trip planning with multiple waypoints. I also think there are many functions that will never be complete without...
Sam,
Thanks for offering to show your vehicle. Mine arrived earlier than expected and was delivered last week. I drove it up to Old Orchard, Maine for a first outing. I’ll be looking to venture to Bar Harbor a couple of times this summer but very surprised with the lack of good charging Downeast...
Hi Sam, I appreciate the opportunity but this weekend I'll be in VT. I'm now in the 8 step process so may be bringing a vehicle next time to meet up. Also LG/FE 20" Off road and still have not driven, less seen a R1T!
Our R1T is in production; so 4 - 6 weeks away. We haven’t seen one yet so would also welcome the opportunity.
How is the charging working out in Maine? We take regular trips to Portland (which should be no problem) and Blue Hill Maine and like to stay on Route 1 and 3 missing the Augusta -...
May/June R1T, LE, LG, FE, Off road, 20in All-Terrain. I haven’t even seen a Rivian except in pictures so hope there is a driving event in New England next month.
There are signs of life at 25 Griffin Way. They have opened up the front to add an entrance currently covered in plywood. There were workers inside. Not much of a change on. The outside but that will change when the entrance glazing gets installed. Hopeful they have been working inside the last...
