November 2020, non-LE preorder holder here. I, too, was feeling pretty bearish about the prospects of getting a vehicle in the first half of 2022, but reading this has me reconsidering.
I was so bearish that I went ahead and pulled the trigger on another EV (VW ID.4) to hold me over until my...
Have you thought about snow tires? For the money, they seem like the best upgrade for handling winter in CO. For me, they added way more confidence in winter than going from a FWD to AWD.
It's funny to me that for some, RJ's appearance/build is even noticeable - he doesn't strike me as particularly skinny at all. I think y'all need to get out of the midwest/south ?
EDIT: Though maybe I'm biased because I live in CO. From the CDC:
This is exciting. I feel like we need more competition in the small truck space generally, and would love for it to be an EV as well. The form factor of the R1T is definitely more appealing to me than the F150 lightning.
I don't read the info that others have been sharing quite the same way. Obviously, there's a lot still up in the air right now, but I think with a decent production ramp the stated goal of all LE-holders getting their vehicles by Spring 2022 is still doable.
My read on the November timeframe is...
As someone who decided to skip the LE train to let things settle out a little bit, I'm excited that folks are thinking about leaving their LE pre-orders - from my view its going to be a shorter wait is for us non-LE folks!
Was the preorder timeline of these other vehicles public knowledge? It seems like the most prudent hedging strategy has always been to sign up for a pre-order if there’s even a slight chance of you going through with it - most of these pre-orders have such low downsides.
That’s what I did with...
I mean, he’s not wrong. The reaction he’s poking fun at feels so melodramatic. It’s been weird to see so much drama and pouting in a forum full of adults. If waiting for these vehicles is such a negative experience, it does seem like moving on is the best option.
Really interesting info about the range. For folks who haven’t watched, it sounds like the 300 mi range estimate on the Ford includes 1000# of cargo.
I’m in a similar boat, wondering how much value the off road package adds for someone not seeking off-road, but don’t want it to be a limiting factor either. It seems like the max ground clearance setting, plus picking good lines should get you just about anywhere you want to go, unless you’re...
I've been wondering how the electrical usage compares between heated or cooled seats/steering wheel vs heat pump for a comparable amount of comfort?
I think I understand the efficiency gain of a heat pump for heating the cabin air more efficiently compared to resistive heating for the air, but...
For an entry into sipping mezcal, this is what most would recommend, and certainly what sent me down the hole. https://www.mezcalreviews.com/mezcal/del-maguey-chichicapa/
Another one that I've loved recently is: https://www.mezcalreviews.com/mezcal/del-maguey-san-pablo-ameyaltepec/
So a bit...
I've been getting into mezcal quite a bit after never quite getting hooked on whisky/scotch - what a rabbit hole! I think it's worth looking into, though the price points are certainly a bit higher for a variety of reasons. The spectrum of flavors is quite broad compared to what I've seen in...
Could be, though I would think they'd try and get a little closer? The flight was into GJ. I was thinking Moab could be part of the agenda, but maybe they're looking in western CO, too, which would be cool for me. :)
