Do you guys work for Rivian? I mean as I read through this forum I see the pattern. Who ever post a negative comment gets bashed. How do you get so much loyalty to Rivian? I would like to know so I can worship the company like you do. Suppressing negative comment or criticism will make this...
So just because I can afford to buy a couple $100K cars it's OK for them to charge me $100 here $150 there? When I bought Tesla back in 2018 they gave me life time free charging plus life time free connectivity for being an early Tesla adopter. Now I just traded in my 2018 Model S with 2024...
If the Rivian forces me to buy the connectivity+ in such a way that impacts the navigation then I am selling the Rivian without any hesitation. I paid $100K for the car and lost $80K as an owner of the Rivian stock I am done! They won't squeeze any more money out of me.
I totally agree with your assessment from your trip. I took my R1T from SoCal to Vancouver and it worked flawlessly but the driver+ was a big disappointment. Whenever it goes through curved freeway it slows down making the driver behind me getting mad for breaking for no reason.
Rivian Driver+ is useless if you are driving on wavy freeway. Every time the road curves it slows down. The car behind me goes crazy. It's very annoying.
It depends what part of Canada you are going. When I drove from Vancouver to Jasper/Banff the majority of the road didn't have cell signal therefore no navigation. I knew this so I brought my Garmin GPS as secondary navigation device and it worked flawlessly. As long as you are staying in...
My Tesla Model S has the same feature. I guess Rivian is following the suit but I find them not very useful. I couldn't turn the feature off on my Tesla. Is there a way to turn it off on Rivian? Could you tell me how?
who ever designed and tested that wireless charging pad should be fired. That is the worst design I've ever seen in any cars that I owned. I just bought Tesla Model S and wireless phone charging is so seamless.
I really wish the gear tunnel is just a little bit bigger so that I can slide in my golf bag easily. My golf bag doesn't fit into the gear tunnel so I use the truck bed instead but it moves around during the drive so annoying.
lol the whole point of cruise control is not to use your foot. The original post has valid concern. I also noticed this and I think it's potential safety concern.
