Thank you. I'll take your recommendation, and I'm going to check some of my local stores today for the posi-lock taps. Thanks again! Great setup btw, and I'm going to try and mount the amp in the same location, too!
I got these from Amazon a while back, looks like I'll use the yellow taps with the 10g. I took your recommendation on the 10g over 8g and returned my 8g amp wiring kit. I'm assuming these taps will work?

I had a mobile tech come out to replace was off my speakers (zero issues since), and he said the same thing. I have "Rivian" system, but he said they were Meridian speakers, and the speaker he replaced it with was also a Meridian speaker.

Did you power the amp with the pink 12v in the rear? If so, how did you go about tapping it? Did you go with 8g? I got everything to do this too, but tapping the 12v is the only thing holding me back. thanks.
R1T has a 6x9 under the rear seat and R1S has a 10" sub in the rear truck passenger side. There are many post of upgrading the sub and adding an amp using the pink 12V to power the amp. I just got my amp, sub, wiring, and kilmat to prevent rattling. I plan on doing this week.
I had two speakers replaced (non-Meridian), and I can confirm they were in fact Meridian speakers, and were replaced with Meridian speakers by the mobile tech at my house. I believe it is non-Meridian branding and replacing with Rivian branding. That has been my personal experience, and also...
Thank you for your quick responses and help. So I'm returning this amp (screenshot I shared) to Amazon and just ordered and about to go pickup this amp at my local Best Buy - black friday sale. They had one left, and it seems like a much better option. Looks like this will do the trick, but...
Thank you! I figured the line level input needed to to go the amp. Sorry, a couple more questions - Can I add a fuse between the 12v (pink wire) to =12v on the amp? I wanted to add some type of backup. And with only one red (R) and one white (L) input on my amp (picture), do I splice the RCA and...
Ok, this is my first time replacing a factory sub using existing sub wires and tapping into the pink 12v power. Without using LOC, does this look correct? I got my sub, amp, kilmat today, but dont want to go prying away without having all the info. appreciate your help and Happy Thanksgiving!
thank you! And from your other comments, the bass is much improved? I plan on doing this weekend, but that amp I can't get until Monday now lol.. So looking at other amps, that's why I was asking. Thanks again!
I looked up pricing for a replacement cover before I decided to go this route (In case I messed up), and I'm glad I did. It's super clean, but unfortunately, my RJ11 mirror tap doesn't provide power anymore, and I tested two radar detectors. I ordered a new one, but I'll also check fuse F63 as...
