My A2Z adapter just shipped today. As soon as Rivian and Tesla turn it on for our cars will try it out. and Tesla definitely turns it on for the specific manufacturer. Either with specific vins etc, so the chargers know you have a Rivian.

From my memory, ford and GM signed first within a week of each other. Hence getting first dibs. Rivian was about 2 weeks later and I think 3rd or 4th one to sign. And said early spring. So likely April which would give a good length of time for slow roll out

I’ve plugged in at a ran and got 200+ for about 15 minutes. The changing curve is 200+ from 0-45%. That’s a solid 15 minutes. EA can’t handle that because of their plugs. 150 chargers can, but that’s because max they go is about 170. And honestly I’m the 5 different ea stations I’ve tried in...

Is this at EA chargers?? On neither of my rivians have I ever been able to sustain 220+ for more than 5 minutes without EA throttling down to about 37-40kw

So it really depends what state of charge. If you start above above 40% and stay there for about 4 minutes, you get to about 45% and the normal charge curve kicks in come down to about 195kw and you are good. But pretty guaranteed if you find a new EA charger it won’t stay sustained 200 plus for...

250 will be pointless with EA as it will only maintain this due to heat management and then will throttle down to 37. Both my rivians will do this every time I charge with a low SOC. Never get more than 2-3 minutes of any speeds above 200.

I have the same question. My guide says they have started customer deliveries, but I’m skeptical because we haven’t seen anything and since that 1 DM in the r1 shop I’ve checked 30 times daily and there haven’t been any more.
