  1. Rear wheel metal clicking noise slow speeds

My 2022 R1T produces clicking sounds on hard acceleration. While I was in for the toe bolt recall, I asked the tech about it. He told me it was the air suspension solenoids opening and closing to try to level the car during the launch. During the drive, he said mine was one of the quietest...
  2. Rivian Assistant Conspiracy

Tell her what dialect you speak. She'll try to emulate. I had a blast after I apologized that she misunderstood what I had said because I speak in a southern dialect. She immediately said she could do that too, and started out by saying "bless your heart" and using ya instead of you.
  3. You've Owned An EV For A While Now. How Have Your Charging Habits Changed?

I charge my 2022 R1T to 85% every night with a 9.6 kW charger. After 84,133 miles (I drive about 27,000 miles per year), the battery has degraded only 1%. I charge to 100% when going over 100 miles out of town, and before any road trip. I'm so impressed with this truck.
  4. Anyone using garage tiles under their heavy Rivian?

You're right. And as one poster mentioned, toolboxes and such are a more severe load. Consider this: I weigh 250 pounds and wear a size 13 shoe. My footprint is about 1/2 a square foot, so when I'm walking across the floor, I impart 500 psi on the floor. The comment about total weight...
  5. Idle fee hate

I, too, was bitten by this at a RAN charger when my app failed to notify me that charging was completed. I'll set to 100% next time.
  6. First Off-road Experience (at Gulches)

I haven’t but was just talking about it last night. I’m up for meeting you there and sharing an adventure.
  7. Eliminating the charge port halo light was a bad call

The halo itself is too bright and distracting as it points no light to the receptacle. The best design would be to remove the pigment from the plastic the receptacle is made of. The receptacle would be translucent and a single LED behind it would make it glow.
  8. Seat Position Memory not remembering

This is the most annoying thing about my truck. A couple of remote service visits have not fixed it. A service center calibration did not fix it. I have to recalibrate the seat every two or three days.
  9. What's this new update (01.0.0) that just installed?

I performed an infotainment and then a full reset this morning. The adjustment for mirror tilt settings started working.
  10. When did you change your tire (mileage / average life)?

I’m really pleased with the OEM 21s on my 2022 R1T. I rotate front-to-back every 10,000 miles, and the original tires lasted 40,000 miles. I installed another set of the OEM Pirellis and am now at 61,000. Looks like getting to 80,000 will be easy.
  11. What's this new update (01.0.0) that just installed?

My truck was ready for pickup at the service center when these updates installed yesterday. The key fob was in the truck at the time, so the tech and I assume it was a fob update. This update had some surprisingly good results. PAAK now works perfectly! The reported efficiency is about ten...
  12. What's this new update (01.0.0) that just installed?

It popped up on my phone quickly and loaded in about two minutes. Can't find any details on what just happened. Can anyone shed some light?
  13. Air compressor cover - ummm...

I'm probably doing this wrong, but see post 54913.
  14. First Time Used Buyer- 39,000 Miles Too Much?

FWIW, my 2022 R1T has 61,000 miles and it's like new. Absolutely love it!
  15. Greenville, SC Service Center Open!

I just got my service appointment transferred from Atlanta to Duncan. Surprised at the backlog at the Duncan location already. It moved my appointment out three weeks, but anything to avoid driving to Atlanta.
  16. R1T is still amazing!

Yep. 21 months and closing in on 60,000 miles on my 2022 R1T with 21" wheels. Best and most satisfying vehicle I've ever owned or driven. She's a keeper. The only issue I have is that the driver's seat loses calibration regularly. I have an appointment to get it fixed before warranty expires.
