Our R1T is basically our only vehicle. We use it for daily driver and extended road trips. We can charge at home. My only complaint is that I spend a fair amount of time in northern Minnesota where the charging infrastructure is sparse. And the places I stay can't provide even level 1...

Pulled into a charger in Kearney Nebraska and saw a Rivian backed into supercharger stall. Did a double take and realized it was an R2. They were driving it from Illinois to California.

That's my plan. We don't need and can't really afford two vehicles and the R2 is a better fit for our needs and usage. I have a 22 R1T. We live in the city and the truck is a little too big for my daughters comfort driving. The R2 will get me where I need to go for the little off-roading I do...
Minnesota here. Plenty cold and we take road trips across the upper Midwest during the winter. I find 300 miles of range acceptable though I'd sure take more. Depending on price of course. It's a tradeoff. I'm sure it will get better over time.
