The size of the R2 is better for us living in an urban environment. We have an R1T and it's tough to navigate parking garages and lots. Also the adjustable air suspension in the R1s has me nervous. Fold flat seats will be nice for car camping.

I'm curious which park or parks you were more impressed by than you expected. For me it is Craters of the Moon. I had no expectations and loved our visit. The landscape was incredible and you were in the middle of it almost before you realized you were in or near the park.
