I run KO3s and I would say they are far from efficient, but at 65-70 mph, I get around 1.85 - 1.9 consistently on my daily 60 mile R/T commute. At 100% SOC, I can expect about 240-250 miles of highway driving. In blended city/highway driving I get around 2.5 - 2.6 and can expect around 320-330...
Looks like a fun time! Looks like the same engineering team that joined us at King of Hammers (Optima Unplugged) earlier this year. The guy in the brownish shirt who drives the LA Silver R1S helped me get up and running after I caught a flat on one of the trail runs. Looking forward to this when...
I'm no expert, but I do think the insulated cover adds a bit of thermal efficiency and light padding/protection, which I find useful - especially on longer trips or rougher trails. That said, it's probably not essential. When I was cross-shopping, I also looked at the Dometic CFX3 and CFX2...
I can’t speak directly to the Anker Solix, but I did cross-shop it at one point and quickly ruled it out once I realized it wouldn’t fit in the bed of my R1T with the tonneau cover closed.
I ended up going with the Iceco VL35 Pro S paired with the insulated cover, and it’s been a great...
I bought one using my referral points, so it doesn't sting as bad. I've used the sunshade once and quickly realized what a PIA it is to remove my radar detector and fastrak responder each time I want to put up the sunshade.
Congrats! What interior option did you go with? For whatever reason, I thought the Tri-Max had teal painted brake calipers. I guess that's only reserved for the upcoming Quad-Max.
Same question for me. Will this fit a Dometic CFX3 35 which is 16.2"H and still be able to close the PTC. IIRC, it's 17" from the bed to the underside of the PTC.
