We drove in our 1S through Montpelier yesterday after a track meet at U32 ... and were right behind an R1T coming through on 2. That's 5!

**NEW** MPP "Triple-L" Ride Height Adjustment Kit For R1T/R1S - Lower/Lift/Level

I ordered a beta set for my 1S and FWIW, I have a Model X with the n2itive ride height adjustment links so I can compare the two kits. I look forward to testing them!

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

Initial check results: Here is a couple pics of the power leads for the R1S Aux Air Compressor. The six-terminal connector furthest back is the one of interest. The top side is from vehicle interior and is the source/feed, bottom side goes under the vehicle. Power comes in via the rear-most...

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

Since the positive lug ties to the main 12V battery, it should be able power pretty much anything the 12V system can handle. I haven't installed my amp yet so I can't offer pics and confirmation, but I aim to run my power cable along the passenger side door frames, under the trim and next to...

    Installed transformer!

Talking with a service rep in VT, he noted that he's replaced a few sets of brakes at 20k miles, primarily due to rear outboard pad wear while there is a lot of life on the inboard pad. Apparently the rear calipers aren't particularly lubricated and seem to stick. This could also manifest as...

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

Couple updates after talking with service rep today: 1. SAFETY STEP UPDATE: removing the fireman's loop only disconnects the high voltage battery! To de-energize the fuse block, pull the fireman's loop AND THEN disconnect the negative terminal(s) on the one or two 12V batteries. To avoid a...

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

I will ask the local service rep when he's here this afternoon. I previously gathered that you can order parts from the service centers and pick them up or have them delivered as part of a remote service appointment.

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

I'm not sure - I haven't yet pulled the dash lower panel. The outlet leads that come with each socket should reach that location from the connection points I used.

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

Where is that? I didn't even find pictures of it! I did look for any connectors or wiring that may feed the stock 12V outlet but didn't see anything under either side of the dash or on the center console. The positive leads that came with the outlets are near their full length as I installed...

First Rivian Charger in New England?

I stopped by this morning but didn't check the transformer pad since I hadn't checked this thread in a while. I will be back in a week or two. Currently looks like...

DIY: How To Add Interior 12v/USB-C (and interior high-current 12v loads)

I recently installed a 12v outlet and additional USB charging outlets in front of the footwell tray. There are a couple other threads about adding interior 12V but I found a way to do it that requires minimal trim removal, independently fuses whatever you add and doesn't require any wiring mods...

    Center console disassembly? Anyone?

Panel pics so you can see fastener locations. Random bit that surprised/slowed me is that the bottom of the cupholder bay has six clips into the top of the central casting. Another unexpected feature is that the large plastic tray/frame between the console and dash is secured to the air vents...

    Center console disassembly? Anyone?

Once the liner is out, the trim surrounding the speaker port pulls straight forward. Pic shows clip locations - be sure to unclip the light before tugging on the trim panel. Then the speaker liner comes out with five screws. Pic shows screws removed. Other pics show the two front trim panels...

    Center console disassembly? Anyone?

Did you fix it or do you still want info about center console disassembly? The good-idea fairy whispered in my ear so now my center console looks like this... For what you described, first attempt would probably only be a few minutes, five screws and a half dozen clips to get the front trim and...

    Stowable 40" Light Bar Setup

Thanks! It is always nice when a project comes out as envisioned. Noticeable "whoosh" noise with the light bar but no whistle or buffeting. Less noise but still noticeable with just the middle crossbar and critter lights. Again, no whistle and it is mild enough that we leave that in place 24/7.
