Are there many options out there now for a cap on the R1T? I couldn't find too much info on google. A lot of what I saw seemed like they don't make too many for EV trucks.
Unfortunately my dad hit my car with his mirror and gave it a small scratch. What should I expect this to cost, and what would be the best way of fixing it?

As best I can tell the algorithm for when the key will unlock it is based on both how close the key is to the car and how long it is within a given range. So if you walk by the car and are about 10 feet away but don't stay in range, it won't trigger the unlock. But if you're 30 feet away and...
Yeah but it doesn't make any sense at all for it to be triggered this far away. If you're parked at a restaurant and go into eat, you wouldn't want your car to start unlocking. They should give the consumer a way to tweak it so it only gets triggered at distances less than x feet.
I don't have it turned off at home. Was hoping I could keep it turned on and just not trigger it when the key is a certain distance away. But if there's no other solution I'd probably just turn if off at home.
I'm living in a townhome now where the main living area is directly above the garage. I do have my phone setup as a key but this issue still happens when bluetooth is turned off. I'll be on my laptop on the couch and I can hear the car periodically lock and unlock. At first I thought maybe the...

Does Rivian allow access for accessing any sort of navigation info such as time remaining until arriving at a destination? I'd be interested in being able to access the audio screen as well to see if I can control music or radio.
Do they allow 3rd party app development as well for building...
Thanks for the responses. I think there were paddles on the steering wheel for the ioniq that I drove and those were for regenerative braking. From what I'm gathering, rivian just automatically applies regenerative braking when you slow down.
I recently picked up an R1S launch edition. My previous car was a 2015 nissan rogue. Right off the bat I noticed that if you are going say 30 mph or slower and take your foot off the pedal the vehicle comes to an almost immediate stop. With other cars I've driven if you take your foot off the...
Glad it's worked out for you. If the battery is at 80% and you power your starlink and laptop for a week with the car battery and don't drive at all that week, what would the battery be at at the end of the week?
I'm scheduled to take delivery of an R1S in September.
I was wondering if anyone has tried working from a campsite using portable starlink and some way of charging devices? What was your experience like doing so?
I was thinking of using a solar generator to power the devices I use for work.
