I think the feature I am most excited about is the Rivian assistant followed closely by the Haptic wheels. I do not like the idea of controlling the things in the car in a computer menu system. The option to control most things by voice commands is a serious game changer. The Haptic wheels also...
I'm not sure I trust JD Power as they seem to get a lot of data directly from dealerships. Seems like it would be easy to manipulate those numbers. I trust Consumer Reports more. There reliability scores look much different than JD Powers. Not sure if this link will work sense you have to be a...
Yes that price is a bit expensive. I found a company who specializes in making Spare tire kits. It looks like you can get it for about half that price. I priced a Tesla model Y spare tire sense it has the same bolt pattern and nearly identical backspacing. The only issue would be the tire...

I seen this pic posted on Facebook of some colored brake calipers. It looks like they could be planning to color match them to the vehicle
My insurance companies jacked my rates also. I kept changing insurance companies every time they Jacked my rates again on my F150. I was paying double what I was paying 3 or 4 years earlier. After changing insurance like 4 times I got a great rate from Progressive. They did raise my rate again...
You can easily get the 20's and change the tires out. You can easily sell those AT tires. Many tire shops will even buy them from you. You will take a bit of a loss in costs when selling them. But you will save much more in the long run in tire costs and possibly even more range depending on...
Is there a way to add Hotels and Campgrounds in the route planning in ABRP? That sure would be nice. Especially if you could see which hotels offer free EV charging.
I tried a another app called Charge hub which I like. It shows some rates and gives links to Teslas website to get rates for each of the Tesla chargers. Tesla is interesting. Some do not allow Non Tesla's. Some have different rates in the off peak hours. Some seem to have a set rate. Some mark...
Since I am considering buying my first EV the R2. I was playing arround trying some rout planners. The Better rout planner really sucked in my opinion. It sid not even show a RAN charging station in Elensberg, Wa which I know exists. I also was trying to see the charging rate costs at the...
I disagree with those saying Locking differentials are not needed but in the most extreme off-roading experiences. In the winter when snow is on the ground you want all wheels to be driving the vehicle not just 2. You want as much traction as possible. I remember years ago trying to pull my...
Came across this video today. The mathematics is beyond my understanding but I found it quite interesting. I plan on getting some 18 inch forged wheels for the R2 if they fit. I bet the lower rolling resitance and lighter wheel will give me 10% more range hopefully.
The website is correct. The 20" wheel is the standard wheel for the Premium model. It is the square dot wheel, but it is not All terrain. You can see an overview of all the wheel options at 33 min into this video.
Those wheel sizes are great news. They are the about the same as the model y. This means it should be easy to find a big selection of aftermarket wheels that will fit.
