Well, after a week or so... the noise isn't gone. It's better at times, but thinking there is some rubbing on the sides where the tape isn't.

Solution found. This has really been bugging me. Had to stop the easy entry. Then thought of putting teflon tape on the underside. Found this on Amazon and just put it on. Sound is gone. Now I have to wait to see how long it’s going to last but I’m hopeful.

I have the same issue. Had mobile service come out, and they stated it's a known issue with no fix known. Apply silicon spray on cloth and wipe the foam area where the column contacts. Did that and lasted but a week.

@Pawsandjaws I charge when we get to 40% up to 70% and it takes about 7 hours. ~8kWh an hour. With the 1.5 cent rebate from SMUD we pay about 9.5 cents a kWh from midnight to 6 am.

Yes I used the SMUD instant rebate for the juice box 32 amp. Out the door price was $175. I think the mobile charger that comes with the vehicle is a 32 amp charger so I could have saved my self money there. That said it’s nice to have a box there.

SMUD has an instant rebate program for the JuiceBox. Its max amp is 32, though. I purchased mine and out the door, it was $173.
