My gen 2 has a lot more post update issues:
- gps doesn’t work
- outside temp shows 0
- battery temp shows 32 degrees & the battery is red when as exclamation point on the drive screen
- when putting iPhone on charger apple wallet opens

Try a vehicle restart.

Have you restarted the vehicle? That seemed to fix it for some people with previous updates. If not, you’ll need to contact Rivian.

Have you restarted the vehicle? That seemed to fix it for some people with previous updates. If not, you’ll need to contact Rivian.

Yea, I tried multiple things with Rivian support & none fixed the issues. I’m not the only one with the problems so in a wait & see point as they get more data & figure out the problem.
To Rivian’s credit, they called me back at like 11pm on Friday to discuss it further, though unfortunately nothing resolved. I will be more than a bit peeved if a software issue ends up requiring a service center visit though.

Yep. Have all these problems too. Gen 2 standard. Multiple soft and hard resets didn’t help. Had a call w Rivian yesterday and hoping they can get me in sooner than my end of November service date. Sounds like this is a wide spread gen 2 problem though.

first gen R1S, never saw app update. Still don’t have it. Logged out of app, force quit app, still no joy

I just traded in my Gen1 for Gen2 R1S.

I do love it, and all the improvements make it well worth it! But… I have had numerous sensor and electronic issues that have had me doing a restart almost daily.

I also have that Apple Wallet issue intermittently…

I have told Service about each issue as they arise… hopefully it’s just software and I don’t have to bring it back for service.

Had costumes yesterday, gone by the evening yesterday. No other issues with the update. Gen2 R1T.

I can't believe i have "Back to the future" in my Rivian!! I've got to be able to keep this. When I got my license plate I could never have guessed this would be coming.
