Still have not been able to get this issue resolved. I have another visit scheduled. So far the door panel and b pillars have been inspected and door hinges replaced, but the noise is still there. Now the noises are more frequent and comes from both sides of the front door. This is ruining my...
We’re sort of in the same boat as OP. While we love our R1S, it has had its share of annoying issues and service center visits have been far too many. Thumping noise coming from the front every time we come to a hard stop or start, squeaky and rattling interior parts, suspension noises, etc...
So does this mean that the Rivian console organizer essentially creates a three tier storage (2 tiers from the organizer and the one from bottom of center console to bottom of the organizer)?
Same here. Reached out to customer service and was told that it is an issue right now. The rep said he will submit a request for follow up tomorrow from the appropriate team.
I had mobile service come out and he was able to identify the noise. It was actually coming from inside the b pillar. Unfortunately it can’t be done via mobile and needs to go in to the service center. He mentioned loose wiring inside the b pillar. I have my service scheduled for later this...
Great update so far. It seems to have fixed a lot of bugs for me. I don’t know if anyone else had this issue, but with the last update my ride felt pretty jittery. A simple reset would make it feel better but it would be jittery again after awhile. With the latest update, the ride feels a lot...
this is driving me nuts and was hoping that someone may have a solution- I'm pretty far from a service center and wait times are long, so I was hoping to do something about it myself. there is a noticeable thumping/knocking noise whenever I start or stop with some sort of momentum. when I gently...
I've been looking for a good windshield sunshade and saw that Rivian has one in the gear shop. Anyone try this yet? It seems awful expensive for a sunshade, but willing to pay for it if the quality is good. Thanks!
Im in the same boat as many of you. I chatted with customer service (my guide does not respond) and they let me know that I had a vin assigned to my account. Not sure if that means vehicle is in production or has been built or planning to be built. Anxiously waiting.
I lost shop access about a week or so ago and now my delivery date is gone. All I see on my screen is the configured section. I’m hoping this isn’t a glitch and means that the vehicle will be coming soon?
So assuming the charge rate and other battery performances are the same, is it worth $6K to go with the large pack? I know it’s based on use case, but is the 40ish miles worth an extra $6K? For those once in a while road trips, I think it’ll be nice but for daily, not really sure.
just saw this as well. not sure if paying $6K for 40 more miles makes sense now with a dual motor configuration, especially given that charging to 75% is recommended.
After a long wait, I am finally configuring my R1S. I am coming from two Teslas (we are an all electric family and can't imagine going back to ICE cars), and we are super excited about the R1S. We test drove an R1S a few months back and we are excited for all the improvements since then (such as...
